BIO
Born 1966 in England, Coral Lambert studied at Central School of Art, London, Canterbury College of Art, Kent and received her MFA in Sculpture from Manchester Met University in 1990.  Since then Lambert has shown her work extensively in England and America including The Barbican Center, London, Franconia Sculpture Park, MN, Convergence 1999 & 2002, in Providence, Rhode Island and Chicago’s Pier Walk 2000. She has been a visiting artist at the Royal College of Art, London, Cyprus College of Art and Rochester Institute of Technology, New York among many others. From 1996-1998 she held the position of International Artist/Research Fellow in at the University of Minnesota. In 2000 and 2002 she was invited to the University of North Carolina as the semester artist-in-residence. As well as producing her large scale public art pieces, her most recent piece commissioned in Finland, she also has work in several private collections.
Lambert currently works out of her New Orleans studios at 2728 N Derbigny and 1616 St Ferdinand Street, New Orleans, LA 70117.
